Why goodness can't just happen without any requirement to go through tough times? Is this what you call destiny or fate? Or is this just what I have brought onto myself; my own failure to be more observant, to be more initiative, to be wiser in relationship matters and matters of other's feelings?
Oh Mr Yap Joachim, you've been given many chances and you've been stuffing them up. Her patience are not endless, her limits are not boundless. You have not many chances left to impress (probably none at all now), so buck up you idiot, make things better you fool! Before, you break not only your own heart but her's too!
you'll just have to wait Just trust in a good time,
no matter how long it takes
How long must I wait,
how much more can I take Before loneliness, will cause my heart,
heart to break…
There's so much to say but who am I to be saying it? Sigh it would have been so much easier to keep hmmm all to myself. Curse the idiots (and their f**ked up plans) who force this to happen... Their intentions were definately not for my better. Couldnt they leave us alone or atleast left me out of it? Bloody idiots, I probably made a fool of myself as well, mumbling here like a madman, craving for attention... Damned...
How time flies, in a couple of days it do be 2008 already. Barely 12 months ago I was busy preparing myself for Melbourne on exchange, this time round I'm again preparing myself for Melbourne, though this time as an international student. Ahh.. the excitment.. probably not, since its not my first year going there anymore. Oh well the excitment isnt there anymore, but i still can't wait to get back!
The highlights of the past 10months in Melb would be hanging out with Sam, Nick, Molly, Grace and Hudi in Melbourne during my 1st semester; Going to GoldCoast and Sydney with Elaine, Chor Yeow, Racheal, Lydia and Aaron; Mahjong/poker nights and constant yum cha sessions with William, Philip, Kingsley, Nelson and Ernest; Trying out various gourmet food (i.e.Fifteen, Nobu, Kobe Jones)! Attending Sexpo; Lil trips to Great Ocean Rd and Philip Island; Getting piss drunk during my birthday; and (dare i say it) being away from Malaysia for so long!
Highlights of the past month that I've been back in Malaysia would be working as an intern at PwC (not really a highlight i enjoy too much); hanging out with friends who are back from the UK and US; buying Mr Policeman a "cup of coffee"; futsal galore!; and Genting to chill.
That pretty much summed up my 2007, kept it really brief and short as not to bore anyone.
oh somethin i wrote while in genting out of boredom (hmm.. is that really?) and for Mr Gwee to give to "someone" (is that so? sure not for yourslf to someone else ar?)....
Up in the Hills, with such broad views. So much to think about, but I'm thinkin' of you.
Up in the hills, I'm lost and confused. Could it be the ride up, or could it be you?
Up in the Hills, I think I miss you. I want to be with you, don't you feel so too?*
<sanchez>
*Only Mr Gwee can tumpang glamour and say this work is his but no one else can
Kick me down a hill I'll pull you down with me down the hill we roll and roll aching all the way
It’s been eons since my previous entry. 1 semester in Australia gone, how time flies. With exams done and over with, I went on a trip with Racheal, Elaine, Chor Yeow, Lydia and Aaron to Gold Coast and Sydney, spent 4 days in each place. Gold Coast was really warm compared to Melbourne, had really good fun there buried on the beach, watching humpback whales, kayaking and shopping. Sydney is almost the same with Melbourne weather wise. The 6 of us got split up in Sydney as the backpackers I stayed in mixed up my reservations, with Racheal and I staying in the backpackers, Elaine and Chor Yeow staying with a friend, while Lydia, Aaron stayed in a hotel. Went on a mini cruise trip round Sydney’s harbour area, visited the famous Sydney Aquarium and done loads of window shopping while escorting both Racheal and Elaine in their shopping trip. I also met up with Jian Wei in Sydney and had lunch with him and his family. Not going to be elaborating much about the whole trip as it would probably bore those of you who actually still drop by…
Anyway back to the time flies part, it was only 4 months ago since orientation for the exchange students where I met Nick, Molly, Sam, Jesus, and Grace Ng. Now 4 months on, Nick, Molly, Sam and Jesus are all back in their respective countries. Going to miss those times hanging out with them, especially Sam! Done a lot with him here in Melbourne, from bar crawls to exploring the city, good times! Hope I’ll be keeping touch with them for a long time more. Need to get new mates to hang out with for the coming semester, will be helping out in the orientation for the new batch of students, hope I will get to meet new people there, time to socialize!
Speaking of new semester, it’s going to start in almost a week’s time. It’s coming a bit too soon! I’ve only slightly more than a week more of holiday left, which is too little. Got to start getting ready for the new semester… Argh, need to get myself a job too! Money no enough!!!
I've not been updating in awhile, not that anyone reads this blog but for those who do actually stop by and do actually care to read, here's a long overdue update from the land down under.
Lets see I've gone for 2, no, 3 trips so far. The first trip was to Phillip Island with Sam, Hudi, Grace and Judy. We departed for the island from Dandenong by bus. Paid pretty decent price for the bus ride, which was around $11 for a round trip. It was a 2 hour bus ride. We stayed in a place called Amaroo. We were given a cabin which fits 7 even though there were only 5 of us. We visited the wildlife park where we were allowed to feed kangaroos, wallabies and emus. The wallabies were really cute and small, the kangaroo on the other hand were huge. There was one incident where emus "chased" Sam and I... haha hilarious! We also visited the Penguin Parade and the Koala Sanctuary. The Koala Sanctuary was disappointing though, there were only a handful of koalas and they were all asleep.
The second trip was to Great Ocean Road with the Monash Exchange Club (MEX). It was also a 2 days 1 night trip. Most part of the trip was spent travelling in the mini bus. The first spot we went was Port Campbell which is about 4 hours drive from Clayton. We had lunch there and visited the London Bridge (its not a real bridge) which actually collapsed a couple of years ago. The next stop was the famous 12 Appostles, which was another hour drive from Port Campbell. There wasnt 12, but infact only 9 or 8 of them left. The scenaries were beautiful though, with the sun, sea and cliffs as backdrops. We spent the night at Lornes where The MEX club's president, James, had 2 family holiday homes there. We had BBQ dinner n chilled out at the place. The next day, we visited Turquay which was the best place to surf in Melbourne, and it seems the best surfers go there.
The third trip was again to Phillip Island, but this time it was 10 of us: Phillip, Nelson, Kingsley, Jo-surf (who came to visit from Msia), Victor (whho came to visit from Sydney), Derrick (Hsemate), Shireen (hsemate), Alvin (Shireen's BF), and me. We didnt really go around the island, it was more like relaxing at the townhouse we rented and at the beach. We even had BBQ by the beach which wasnt really a success. We started our BBQ at 5pm and the sun set at 6pm, there wasnt lights at the BBQ area and we had to use lights from our handphones to see if the food were cooked. Later that night, we had drinks and games. There was even an incident which was just funny and disgusting... haha (sorry only ppl present would know). Oh a few of the guys even played strip "chor dai di"/Big 2. Nelson, Kingsley and Phillip were the victims who had to strip to there undies, and they played outdoors which was 8degrees it seems.
Okie.. thats all with my trips.. I need cash though I'm not deprived of it because of the trips, just that i need more to have more trips... No one's hiring me haiz, looks like I've to look for jobs in the city. Mid-term exams and assignments are up, need to get busy with studies.
A place where my feelings are expressed! A place filled with "jiwangness". An honest sight of a deeper side of me. You can read them you can leave comments but don't ask questions! And don't complain that this blog is so sad and pathetic
This blog is boring, so i recomend you to go to this blog instead: GotBird(but then again, i think its a boring blog too :p)
